The state government has decided to teach the Bhagavad Gita to the students of Classes 1 and 2 in its Urdu-medium schools from the current academic session. This will be the first time when the teachings will be added as a part of Special Urdu textbooks in Classes 1 and 2.

Bhopal: MBA couselling at MC National University of Journalism
Institutional-level counselling for the aspirants of MBA course at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism will be held on August 5. Representatives of the directorate of technical education will be present in the university during the counselling. The aspirants should register themselves on www.mponline.gov.in. Admission will be held on the basis of graduation degree marks.
Burhanpur: 3 Seva Sadan College students beaten up on campus
Three college students were admitted in the district hospital after they were severely beaten up by more than 50 assailants in SevaSadanCollege. The incident took place on Saturday. The college authorities said that the incident was a result of a dispute between the students. However, one of the victims claimed that the three students were victims of ragging. Alhough the students said that similar incidents has taken place earlier as well, the college authorities did not pay heed to the matter.

Women’s team of The Daly College, EmeraldHeights, DelhiPublic School, Choithram, Little Angel School, Mhow and SanmatiHigherSecondary School have qualified for the next round of Subroto Cup U-17 Football Tournament. The tournament is being organised by the education department.
Indore: MPCA to purchase land for international cricket ground
The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has decided to purchase land for the international cricket stadium to be constructed in Indore. The decision was taken in the annual general body meeting of the association on Sunday. The decision was announced by Union Power Minister and president of MPCA Jyotiraditya Scindia. He further added that another international stadium will be constructed in Gwalior.
