XLRI will become the first premier B-School to start the global MBA programme. Twenty students each from China, India and USA will share common classroom and complete one semester in each of the three countries before returning to XLRI for the convocation. A batch of 60 students has been chosen who will begin the first semester in Shanghai’s Tongji University.

Bokaro: Students fall ill after consuming iron tablets

Four students fell ill after consuming iron and folic acid tablets in their school on Monday. The girls studies at government middle school in Jharkhand Armed Police Ground. The school teacher distributed the tablets among 30 girls studying in class VIII. Four among them started complaining of dizziness and vomiting. Two of the students were rushed to the clinic but were discharged after treatment.

Dhanbad: Town gets multi-specialised dental clinic

The town got its third multi-specialised dental clinic. Nirsa MLA Arup Chatterjee inaugurated the clinic located on Monday, located at Memco More. Dr Chatterjee requested the corporate and private clinics to provide free of cost treatment to the poor patients. He even insisted them to organise health camps in rural areas and coal belts.

Ranchi: City celebrates guru purnima, thousands gather at RK Ashram

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, about 1,000 devotees gathered at the Ramkrishna Mission Ashram at Morhabadi. Guru Shashakananda spoke about the importance of the day. Spiritually inclined people celebrated the day by seeking the blessings of their spiritual teachers.
