A day after several people were injured in a face-off between Punjab farmers and Haryana Police at two borders between the states, protesters continued demonstrations on the second day on Wednesday (February 14). Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi is in Jaipur to file her nomination papers from Rajasthan for the upcoming polls to the Upper House. Her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also accompanied her to the state Assembly in Jaipur where she is filing her nomination papers. Confirming the development, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Gandhi choosing Rajasthan as her Rajya Sabha constituency will send a positive message among the party cadre and to the people.
