New Delhi: A year after Pathankot airbase attack, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday filed a comprehensive chargesheet at Panchkula Special Court naming Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar and three others of his organisation as accused. NIA highlighted the role of terror group Jaish in spreading mayhem in India and referred to the nefarious plans of the outfit. Here are 10 things to know how Jaish planned the terror attack:

- JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar has been named in the chargesheet and materials recovered from the spot suggest complicity of his organisation in Pathankot airbase attack.

- Masood's brother and JeM Deputy chief Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, a resident of Bahawalpur in Pakistan, has also been named in the chargesheet.

- Kashif Jaan has been named as the main handler. Call intercepts and statements of the witnesses suggested that Kashif and Shahid Latif (a resident of Eminabad in Gujranwala) were in fact the operatives who dropped the attackers off at the Indo-Pak border.

- All these four Pakistani terrorists have been chargesheeted under Sections 120 B, 121, 121 A, 302, 307, 364, 365, 367,368, 397 of IPC and 16,20,23, 38 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) 1967 And 25,27 of Arms act And Section 3 (b) of Explosive Substance Act Offence.

- Offence also established against JeM attackers Nasir Hussain resident of Vehari, Hafiz Abu Bakar resident of Gujranwala, Umar Farooq resident of Sangher and Abdul Qayum resident of Sukkar (All residents of Pakistan).

- The Home Ministry had given sanction to NIA to file the chargesheet against Azhar, his brother and the two handlers - Qashif Jan and Shaid Latif - of the four terrorists, under UAPA.

- Red Corner Notice has been issued against Maulana Masood Asghar, Muftu Abdul Rauf Asghar and Shahid Latif and the process of RCN against main handler Kashif Jaan has begun.

- It was established during investigations that all four terrorists had illegally entered India on December 31, 2015 and killed Indian national Ikagar Singh. Ikagar's murder has been established by DNA matching of one of the dead terrorist and Ikagar.

- All the terrorists were JeM members and they were trained in handling sophisticated weapons and were in touch with their handlers on three Pakistani numbers. It was also established that JeM training camps in POK are planning to target India repeatedly.

- NIA collected sufficient evidence against the attackers. All 4 attackers were motivated and radicalised by Masood Asgar and Abdul Rauf.
