HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday made it clear that he would not field anyone in the 2014 elections if they have any history of indulging in corruption.Answering questions from students at the NRI Institute of Technology at Kukatpally here, the TDP chief, who is supporting Anna Hazare’s crusade against corruption, said the youth should take an active role in eradicating it.He said a few MLAs were supporting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy only because they had set eyes on the ill-gotten money of the Kadapa MP.They should realise that if they supported Jagan, who is facing serious charges of corruption, people would not accept them. He predicted all of them would bite the dust in the byelections.“This would serve as a warning to others who think on the lines of these MLAs,” he said. Naidu, answering queries over his assets, said what all he has were legitimate ones.‘’If anyone proves that I had earned or amassed assets through dubious methods, I would be too glad to gift them away,’’ he said when a girl asked him whether he had hotels in Singapore.
