Noida: In a setback to builders, Noida Authority has ruled that builders cannot charge maintenance fee unless projects are completed.
The decision was taken in a tri-party meeting after several complaints from hundreds of home buyers that builders are taking maintenance charges from them even when the projects are incomplete.
Several Amrapali home-buyers complained that many projects are running on back-up power supply since there is no power supply.
Noida Authorities have already started inspection of Amrapali's construction projects. Hundreds of Amrapali home owners have complained of inadequate facilities.

Since many builders have not paid money to the Noida Authority, No Objection Certificates are still pending," said Ravi Kant, a Amrapali home buyer.
