Bangkok: Top seeded Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy survived a scare in the first round at the ATP Thailand Open in Bangkok on Thursday.
The Indo-Czech pair won a hard-fought three-setter against India's Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan to enter the second round.
After losing the first set 6-7, Bopanna and Qureshi fought back to win the second set 6-4.
However, Paes and Dlouhy secured the match winning the decider 10-7 in a tiebreak.
