Pak to give cash reward for info on Taliban leaders
Pakistan's offensive against the Taliban is still on.

New Delhi: Pakistan's offensive against the Taliban is still on despite the deadly Lahore attack on Wednesday which killed 35 people and injured over 400.

Extremist outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Punjab has claimed responsibility for it the attack, but now the focus is on capturing top Taliban leaders.

The Taliban spokesperson in Swat, Muslim Khan, sent a recorded message on a tape - which is in the possession of the Pakistan Army.

Khan has instructed his commanders to attack Pakistani Punjab to take revenge for the military operations in Swat.

Hoping to tighten the noose around the Taliban, the government is ready to give away a cash reward of up to Rs 50 lakh to anyone who provides information of the Taliban's top order.

Following the seizure of the tape which has Muslim Khan's voice on it, the Pakistan government has released a list of 21 Taliban leaders including top leader Maulvi Fazal-ullah. The bounty on Fazlullah is Rs 50 lakh and the reward for information leading to Muslim Khan's capture is Rs 40 lakh.
