BOUDH: One person died while another sustained critical injuries after their motorcycle skidded off the road at a turning near Lukapada on Sonepur-Kantamal Road under Kantamal police limits on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Mohana Guru (45) of Patharla village in Kantamal block. He was a renowned ‘Pala Gayaka’ of the area. The injured Chaitanya Kudei (19) of Tangiapali village in the same block has been admitted to VSS Medical, Burla. Reports said the duo was on their way to Palsagora in Kantamal block. Guru had taken lift from Kudei. Police have registered a case and sent the body for autopsy.
