New York: The prospect of pro-life Alaska Governor Sarah Palin becoming vice president is being used in Planned Parenthood fund-raising ads.
A wicked web campaign is underway urging foes of Palin to make a donation to the organization in Palin's name, reports the New York Daily News.
The e-mail lists Palin's address as Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
"We have seen an increase in donations" as a result of the campaign, said Planned Parenthood spokesman Tait Sye.
"People are responding to how out-of-touch McCain and Palin are on women''s health and they wanted to do something about it," Sye added.
Sye said they're still calculating the Palin-spurred donations and will release a figure next week.
It was not clear who launched the anti-Palin campaign, but the Connecticut woman who forwarded the e-mail to The Daily News said: "I hope it goes around the world and Planned Parenthood is flooded with donations."
The McCain campaign could not immediately be reached for comment.
