What began as an attack on a Dera preacher in a gurudwara in Vienna quickly escalated to a riotous situation in India. Austrian police quickly contained the aftermath in their country but in India the riots spilled over to the streets. Cars, trucks and trains burnt and protests rallies blocked highways and arterial Railway routes.
