Deepika Padukone has fulfilled her wish. She wanted director Prakash Jha to picturise a love ballad on her in Aarakshan. The song Acha Lagta Hai sung by Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal is the result of Deepika’s persuasion. Says Dippy, “I was looking forward to the song. Prakashji has a good sense of music. I remember how Raajneeti’s More Piya was such a rage. It’s always on loop on my iPod whenever I am travelling. I remember messaging him to please give me a good romantic song in Aarakshan. Accha Lagta Hai is such a playful romantic song.” The song features Deepika along with Saif Ali Khan. Wonder if this track will now play when she is with a certain Sidhartha Mallya!

A weary Celina Jaitly on her arrival from Colombo, where she had a harrowing time due to a delayed flight. The actress had to spend 11 hours at the airport as reported ‘Celina stuck in Colombo’ (Hitlist, July 5). No wonder she’s avoiding the photographers.

White is right
South import Kajal Aggarwal, who makes her B-Town debut opposite Ajay Devgn in Singham, believes in a unique superstition. She thinks that the colour white is lucky for her. Her claim is that in whichever South movie she has worn a white coloured outfit in her introductory shot; the movie has gone on to be a success. In Singham too, the actress was given a white coloured salwar-kameez for her first shot. The filmmakers shouldn’t have a problem with that, and some of them might want her drenched too!
