Chennai DMK MP and General Secretary of the South Indian Artistes Association R Saratkumar said on Sunday that Tamil actress Suhasini Manirathanam had sent him an SMS cautioning him against sending her a letter in reference to her support for actress Khushboo, currently in the middle of a legal vortex regarding remarks she earlier made on on pre-marital sex.
Saratkumar had sent a letter to Suhasini seeking an explanation for her defence of Kushboo.
Saratkumar told reporters that even before the letter reached Suhasini, she had sent an SMS to him, in which she had threatned him with dire consequences if the association took any action against her.
Meanwhile, protests against Suhasini for supporting Kushboo continued for the second day today. In Chennai,
protests were held in three places and her photos were also burnt.

Meanwhile the Chennai High Court has postponed the hearing of an anticipatory bail application by actress Khushboo to Tuesday. The actress had filed an application for anticipatory bail in a defamation case filed against her after she made comments on pre-marital sex to a Tamil magazine.

With several political parties protesting against her remarks, 24 cases were filed against her in Tamil Nadu in various district courts. In one such case, a Mettur court issued a non bailable arrest warrant.
The Chennai Commisioner of Police confirmed the reciept of the warrant but said they could decide on further action only after court orders were made clear.
