HYDERABAD: Former chief minister and senior Congress leader K Rosaiah is expected to take charge as Tamil Nadu governor in the second week of September.Prior to it, he will resign his MLC seat before leaving for Chennai.Rosaiah has not yet finalised the date to assume office since two to three auspicious dates have been suggested for the purpose.Though September 2 is considered to be an auspicious day, he has decided not to take charge on that day since it was the day when former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy died in a helicopter crash in 2009.He is most likely to take charge on September 9 which is considered auspicious. The former chief minister, after being appointed as the Tamil Nadu governor, visited the Congress party office on Saturday where he was received with bouquets by several Congress leaders including JC Diwakar Reddy and K Janardhan Reddy and others.Later in the day, he met APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana.
