New Delhi: A law firm was raided on Saturday and Rs 13.56 crore, including Rs 2.6 crore in new denomination currency notes, was seized from the premises, a police officer said.
The raid was conducted at the T&T law firm in Greater Kailash 1 area in south Delhi.
"The raiding team has recovered Rs 8 crore, out of which at least Rs two crore is in new currency," Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Ravindra Yadav said, adding that the Income Tax department has been informed.
According to police, the cash belong to racketeers.
