Sarkozy's ex-wife calls him a miser in biography

New Delhi: Nicolas Sarkozy's ex-wife, Cecilia is trying to block the publication of her biography.

The book reportedly quotes her describing the French President as a seducer, a miser and as a man incapable of loving anyone, even his own children.

Lawyers for Cécilia, who divorced Nicolas in October, told a Paris court that the book by a political journalist breached her private life.

However, extracts have already been published in magazines and the book is out in some shops.

In one passage the former first lady is quoted as saying that Sarkozy's behaviour after her departure — behaviour which involved a hotchpotch of women and karaoke until 4 am — was not dignified.

Cecilia has reportedly denied making those comments.
