Season's first snowfall in Mussoorie on Wednesday

Dehradun: The hill town of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand received the season's first snowfall on Wednesday luring hordes of fun lovers to the tourist hotspot.

Fresh snowfall in the higher reaches of Garhwal Himalayas has already shrouded the famous temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib under thick sheets of snow.

The lower areas including Dehradun were lashed by varying degrees of rainfall causing a sharp fall in temperature across Uttarakhand.
