Seoni: Newly-married woman killed, 4 others injured as car overturns

A newly-married woman was killed and four others injured seriously when their car overturned at a village here, police said on Tuesday.

While the woman was travelling to her in-laws' home at Seoni on Monday evening, the car's driver lost control of the vehicle following which it overturned at Sirmangani village on the district's Narsingpur-Lakhnadon road.

The deceased, Reena Yadav, had got married to Durgesh Yadav on May 28, they said. Durgesh suffered injuries in the accident and was referred to Nagpur along with one other person in a critical condition, police said. The two others seriously injured have been admitted to a hospital at Lakhnadon, they added.
