She remained calm in prison

HYDERABD: Suspended IAS officer Y Srilakshmi who was  granted conditional bail by the Special CBI Court  and released from the Chanchalguda Central Prison on Friday,  remained calm during her one-day stay in the jail. The scam-accused IAS officer preferred not to speak to others till she got the news of her conditional bail.“She remained calm and did not speak to others.  She was in a depressed state during her one-day stay in the prison,” an official said.Srilakshmi who had her breakfast and meals at stipulated timings, sat in the barracks till the afternoon.“After we received her conditional bail order from the Special CBI Court,  she came and signed the papers. After completing the formalities, she left the prison,” the official said.Elaborate security was made at the central prison to prevent the media from taking her pictures. “This kind of security is not made for other prisoners. Since she is a senior IAS officer, who is leaving the prison after getting bail, and her husband being an IPS officer, tight security was provided to ensure that they did not come under media glare,” a police official said.
