BHUBANESWAR: In a tragic incident, two brothers were killed in a road mishap between Uttara and Pipli on Friday morning. Three others were injured and are undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital here. Their condition is stated to be critical. The brothers were returning after visiting their flood-hit village in Puri district when the mishap occurred. They were identified as Ashok and Dushmant Swain __ both in their early 30s.  Police said the Swain brothers, along with Laxmidhar Parida, Ranjit Pradhan and Prasant Pradhan, were returning to Bhubaneswar when they stopped at a point, near Krupajala Engineering College, where road renovation was going on. As the five youths on three bikes were waiting for the road to clear up, a truck hit them from behind and dragged them straight to a road roller which was parked at a distance. All the five were injured. The siblings succumbed at a hospital. The deceased duo belonged to Press Colony area under Kharavela Nagar Police limits here.
