Snake in CMs convoy?

NELLORE: A snake being spotted near the chief minister’s convoy created anxious moments at the helipad in Kakuturu village in Venkatachalam mandal on Sunday.Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was yet to land in Nellore when the incident took place. About 10 vehicles were kept ready to escort the chief minister from the helipad to the proposed construction site of Vikram Simhapuri University buildings in the village.At around 11 a.m., a few minutes before Kiran Kumar’s chopper was to arrive, one of the security personnel saw a snake slithering under one of the vehicles in the convoy. He alerted others and word spread that the snake was inside the vehicle.As a precautionary measure, the vehicle was driven away from the parked convoy and was thoroughly checked. However, neither was the snake found inside nor was it found anywhere else on the spot.  Though police officials were relieved, they did not include the particular vehicle in the convoy again.
