HUBLI: The South Western Railway will be introducing a new weekly express train between Vasco-da-gama and Velankanni as announced in the Railway Budget-2011, on Friday.The inaugural Train No 06901 Vasco-da-Gama-Velankanni Weekly Express will be flagged off at 19-00 hrs on Friday at Vasco-dagama railway station and reach Velankanni at 23-30 hrs on the next day.In the return direction, Train No 06902 Velankanni-Vascoda- Gama Weekly Express Special will depart Velankanni at 23-30 hrs on Saturday and reach Vasco-dagama at 04-00 hrs on Monday.From August 29, train No 17315 Vasco-da-gama- Velankanni Weekly Express will depart at 09-00 hrs from Vasco-da-Gama on Monday and reach Velankanni at 12- 10 hrs on the next day.In the return direction, Train No 17316 Velankanni-Vasco-da- Gama Weekly Express will depart Velnakanni on Tuesdays at 14-10 hrs and reach Vasco-da-Gama at 19-40 hrs on the next day.The weekly train will stop at Madgaon, Qulem, Castle Rock, Londa, Dharwad, Hubli, Haveri, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumkur, Yeshwantpur, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappli, Thanjavur, Nagapatnam
