Fast bowler Sreesanth, who has been banned for life due to his alleged involvement in the Indian Premier League's (IPL) spot-fixing scandal, hoped that this bad phase of his life would get over soon.

"I have not done anything wrong. Everybody faces bad times in life. This is my bad time and I hope it will end soon," Sreesanth who arrived in Bhopal to take part in the wedding anniversary of his in-laws told reporters on Monday night. Though Sreesanth initially tried to avoid the media, he answered a few questions.

He said that at present he is totally focused on his married life and is happy with it. Sreesanth said that he is planning to set up a cricket academy, but hasn't zeroed in on a location.

Terming Bhopal as a place full of natural beauty, he said that since now his family is here, he might set up a fitness centre in the city. Sreesanth's wife Bhuvaneshwari was also present on the occasion.

The fast bowler was a member of the World Cup winning squad in 2011 and was allegedly involved in IPL's spot-fixing scandal, after which he was sent to jail. Later, the Board of Cricket for Control in India's (BCCI) Disciplinary Committee also slapped a life ban on him.
