State Energy Conservation Awards announced

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The HLL Life Care Limited has won the best performance award in the category of large-scale energy consumers of the 15th State Energy Conservation Awards instituted by the State-Level Monitoring Committee for Energy Conservation. Various such awards and commendation certificates have been conferred on selected organisations and individuals.  The MRF Limited, Kottayam, and Wonderla Holidays, Ernakulam, received commendation certificates in the category of large-scale energy consumers. The Coconut Lagoon, Kottayam, got a commendation certificate in the medium-scale energy consumers category. In the category of Departments and non-profit organisations, the PWD Electrical Wing, Thiruvananthapuram, bagged the Commendation certificate while among the schools, the Mulamana V and HSS, Vamanapuram and Government UP School, Puttumanoor, secured the best performance awards. In the category of Manufacturers of Energy Efficient Equipment, Solenergees at Palakkad won the commendation certificate. Among the colleges, Christ College, Irinjalakuda, won the best performance award while Toc H Institute of Science and Technology, Ernakulam, won the commendation certificate.  The awards will be given away at a function to be organised on National Energy Conservation Day on December 14.
