New Delhi: America's Steve Stricker on Sunday won the John Deere Classic in Illinois by three shots.
Stricker finished three shots ahead of his rivals on a gruelling final day where the golfers had to play 36 holes. The American finished on 20 under par for his second win of the season.
Play had been washed out on Friday after heavy rain which forced the players to play two rounds on Sunday.
Stricker made a three-under 68 in his third round and was bogey free in his final round.
At the women's US Open South Korea's Ji Eun-hee won with a dramatic putt on the 18th hole at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Hee nailed a 20-foot long birdie putt to finish on an even-par 71 for a level-par 284 total which beat Candie Kung of Taiwan by one stroke. The 2007 champion Kristie Cerr of America finished third.
