Srinagar: Two policemen were shot dead by terrorists in Soura area of the Srinagar on Thursday.
Terrorists opened fire on a police patrol party at Soura, killing a head constable and a constable of the Jammu and Kashmir police at around 0730 hrs (IST), official sources said.
The terrorists also snatched an AK-47 rifle belonging to the constable before fleeing from the spot.
A spokesperson of the terrorist outfit al-Mansoorian told a local news agency and claimed responsibility for the killings.
