Etawah: Thirteen people, including eleven women, were on Saturday killed and five others injured when they were run over by a truck on Etawah-Farukkhabad road in Uttar Pradesh, police said.

Agitated with the incident, local residents kept the bodies on the road and blocked traffic.
A police team has rushed to the spot, officials said, adding that the truck driver and another person have been detained in connection with the incident.
