New Delhi: Dentists advise us to brush our teeth for at least 2 minutes, twice a day, but a new 3D-printed Blizzident tailored toothbrush claims to clean your teeth in 6 seconds. You can even floss and clean your tongue at the same time.
To save 108 seconds daily (more if you include flossing and tongue cleaning), you will need to shell out $299 (in North America) and euro 299 elsewhere. This does not include denture impression or scan prices that can vary between $75 to $200.
These customised toothbrushes are created from the scans that dentists use to fit braces and each brush is unique to a customer.
Each brush contains about 400 soft bristles and cleaning happens by just biting and grinding the teeth.
The manufacturers say that Blizzident eliminates the brushing errors that people usually make.
One Blizzident toothbrush will last for a year and replacements will cost $159. Refurbished Blizzident (cleaned and with new bristles) would be available at $89.
