Three die, two hurt as car collides with bus

KOZHIKODE: Three persons died and two others were injured when a car collided with a private bus at  Chemanchery near Koyilandy in the district on  Monday. The car, which was plying from Kannur to  Karipur Airport, hit the bus K K Sons while overtaking another bus around 7 am.  The driver of the car and two passengers died on the spot. Kollamkunnel Shaju, 40, T P Mehroof, 25, and P P Mohammed Shafi, 30 - natives of Alakkode in Kannur district - are the deceased.The victims were on their way to the airport to see off N B Sajeer, who was going abroad. The bodies were taken to the MCH for  postmortem examination
