Woods missed the 54-hole cut in the Farmers Insurance Open, a tournament he has won seven times. In Dubai this week, the world's No. 1 player says he was on a bogey train Saturday and couldn't get off.
He shot 71 on Tuesday in an exhibition for past champions at Dubai. Woods says he hit the ball about the same as did on Saturday at Torrey Pines, where his 79 matched his worst score on American soil.
Woods is a two-time winner of the Dubai Desert Challenge and only once in six appearances has he finished out of the top five.
