TRS suspends Politburo member

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti has removed Yousuf Ali, a member of the Politburo, from the party’s policy-making body and suspended him from the party. The action follows reports that Ali is engaged in a hushhush campaign against Gampa Govardhan, who will be the party’s candidate for the Kamareddy Assembly seat.Govardhan had resigned from TDP over Telangana issue and joined TRS. Ali, who is also from Kamareddy, had a running feud with Govardhan when he was in the TDP.Now that Govardhan is in TRS and the party directing Ali and other TRS workers to ensure Govardhan’s victory, Ali found it too much to bear
