New Delhi: Two out of the four Indians who were abducted by Islamic State have returned home from Libya. Efforts are still on to secure the release of the remaining two who hail from Hyderabad.
"I thank the embassies, external affair ministry, and everyone who helped directly or indirectly. They did not torture us or do anything to us, they respected us as we were teachers," said one of the person who was abducted.
Andhra Pradesh government has spoken to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to secure their release. Talks for the release of ISIS abducted University of Sirte assistant professor P Gopikrishna who is a native of Tekkali in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh are on.
