United stand brings up talk of new political front

It is up to the leaders in Delhi,” he declared.Meanwhile, it would be up to the protesting political outfits to find ways to take the issue to the people, said CPM state secretary G Ramakrishnan.“When we started protesting the neo-liberal policies over a decade ago, we had to explain everything to the people. Now, people understand the ramifications. That’s why the mobilisation for the strike has been spontaneous and wide,” he said.The heat over the matter was unlikely to die down for the Centre with the BJP planning to keep up the pressure on the government.
