US referred to Putin as alpha dog: WikiLeaks
The cables showed name calling of top world leaders like the Russian Prime Minister, German Chancellor and Afghanistan President.

Washington: US State Department documents released by whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks provided candid views of foreign leaders and sensitive information on terrorism and nuclear proliferation, 'The New York Times' reported on Sunday.

The documents showed that how Washington is running a secret intelligence campaign targeting the UN leadership. The cables also showed name calling of top world leaders like Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been referred to as "alpha-dog", Afghan President Hamid Karzai said to be "driven by paranoia", German Chancellor Angela Merkel allegedly "avoids risks and is rarely creative" and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been compared with Adolf Hitler.

It also allegedly said that veteran Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi never travels without a trusted Ukraninan nurse, a 'voluptuous blond'.
