THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister K M Mani has announced that the Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE) will set a total annual business target of Rs. 25,000 crore within five years and will also introduce electronic online transfer system for all transactions soon.Releasing Vision 2015 of the KSFE here on Thursday by presenting a copy to Finance secretary V P Joy, Mani said that the number of branches of the chit and financial firm would be raised to 560. “The objective is to provide services across the globe,’’ he said. Weekly and daily chits will be introduced, aimed at small traders and self-employed, he said. The total business envisaged for 2014-15 from chit business alone is Rs. 14,400 crore. Rs. 4,300 crore will be disbursed as loans and deposits to the tune of Rs. 5,300 crore will be mobilised.Measures will be initiated to enable those residing outside the state to join chits online, Mani said.The Finance Minister also said that the terms and conditions for surety to avail of a chit amount would be improvised logically. Complaints of customers will be addressed positively within three days of receipt, he said. Mani received an annual dividend of `50 crore of the firm to the State Government,for 2010-11.
