Nita Mukesh Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, on Monday offered her son Anant Ambani’s wedding invite at Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
After the darshan, she told the media, “I have just got Baba Bholenath’s darshan. I am feeling very blessed…As per the Hindu tradition, we first take blessings of the Lord. I have offered the wedding invite to Baba…I am very happy. I have come here after 10 years. I am happy to see the development and Kashi Vishwanath corridor, NaMo Ghat, solar energy plants and cleanliness. I am very happy to see the change…”
“I had come for a darshan at Kashi Vishwanath temple 10 years ago. I have a special bond with the artisans here. I am going to meet them. Through the medium of Reliance Foundation and Swadesh, we want to give them global recognition and respect,” she said.
She also attended the Ganga Aarti. “…It is my good fortune that I have come here during Ganga Aarti. It feels so good…There is so much ‘Shakti’ here…,” she further said.

When asked if she would return to visit the temple, Ambani said, “Definitely. I will come to visit with Anant and Radhika after their wedding…Maa Ganga and Bholenath Baba should just keep their blessings on us and every Indian. Har Har Mahadev.”
She also visited a chaat shop and interacted with the locals.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, will tie the knot at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Guests have started receiving the ‘Save The Date’ invitation, which is a traditional red and gold card, disclosing some details of the three-day function.
The main wedding ceremonies will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got engaged in a traditional ‘Roka’ ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara town of Rajasthan’s Rajsamand in the presence of family members and friends in 2022.
As part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in February, the Ambani family facilitated the construction of 14 new temples within a sprawling temple complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The three-day pre-wedding bash was held in Jamnagar city from March 1 to 3.
The pre-wedding festivities saw the entire family — Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Anant’s siblings Reliance Jio Infocomm chairman Akash Ambani with his wife Shloka Mehta and kids Veda and Prithvi, and Isha Ambani, who heads Reliance Retail, with her husband Anand Piramal and her kids, Aadiya Shakti and Krishna – in attendance. After the festivities, Mukesh Ambani visited Gujarat’s Dwarkadish Temple with Anant Ambani.
The Ambani family also attended the Ram Lalla pran pratishtha at Ayodhya on Monday and made a donation of Rs 2.51 crore to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The grand Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor in Varanasi connects the iconic Kashi Vishwanath temple and the ghats along the river Ganga. Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, an MP from the constituency, on December 13, 2021, the project is spread over a massive area of about 5 lakh square feet.
As of February 2024, over 14 crore devotees had visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi since the inauguration of the corridor.
