HYDERABAD: Though it is not dubbed as Congress PRP merger public meeting, former PRP president Chiranjeevi will be among the VIPs attending the Uttarandhra Praja Garjana, a massive public meeting being organised by the AP Congress Committee on the Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam on September 25. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana will attend the meet.
The Congress apparently has decided to organise a massive show of strength in Visakhapatnam to send a message the Congress is a force to reckon with and that it is not daunted by the crowds that Jagan is drawing in coastal districts during his Odapru Yatra.Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, the PCC president said the Vizag meeting would be attended by the who's who of the Congress, including central and state ministers. The meeting is intended to infuse new vitality in the Congress workers and thus keep the party a welloiled machine ready for the elections in 2014.
