Watch: Tom Cruise in 'Rock of Ages'

New Delhi: The first trailer of the film 'Rock of Ages' suggests that the film is set in 1980s America. Directed by Adam Shankman, the film is a story about a small town girl and a big city boy who aspire to be an actress and a rockstar respectively.

Backed by Warner Brothers, 'Rock of Ages' has Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta in the lead but the promo also showcases a shirtless Tom Cruise towards the end.

Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta-Jones are also featured in the initial teaser. Zeta-Jones' character seems to be too much worried about the club culture. She refers to clubs as a place for free sex.

A lot of rock hits from early 80s have also been featured in the trailer.
