Police reamin clueless on the killers or the motive.
Police say that the killers gained entry into the hosue by breaking open the door though the door was later found bolted from inside. The victims were found strangled and stabbed with sharp objects.
About 13 sovereigns of jewellery that the Vijaya was wearing and some cash are missing from the spot leading police to suspect it's a murder for gain.
Commissioner of Police, T Rajendran says, "We cannot speculate on the motive now. Investigations will reveal things. We are investigating from two or three angles."
It's the second case of murder in Ashik Nagar locality in under a year. Last year, the former CMD of Tamil Nadu Minerals, his wife and their domestic help were killed in their Ashok Nagar house. The case is still to be solved.
