KOCHI: Justice V R Krishna Iyer inaugurated the World Mental Health day observation at Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi. Speaking at the celebrations organised by the Psychiatry wing of the hospital, Justice Krishna Iyer said that dedication to the society and ability to share other individuals' grief are the two qualities to be nurtured by the young generation. Speaking on the occasion, Mata Amrithanandamayi Math general secretary Swami Poornamrithanandapuri said that the mind should also be given equal importance as the body.Psychiatry wing head Dr Kesavankutty Nair, Amritha School of Medicine principal Dr Prathapan Nair, senior medical administrator Dr S K Ramachandran, Medical superintendent Dr Sanjeev K Sinh, Dr Dinesh M and Dr Praveen Arathil also spoke.
