New Delhi: Bollywood seems to be running high on the action thriller these days. After churning out films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur' on gang war, another director Anand Kumar is entering into the popular genre with his film 'Zila Ghaziabad'. Based on a true story, 'Zila Ghaziabad' is about a gang war between two powerful Gujjar rival gangs that took place in the 90s in Ghaziabad.
The jodi of Munna and Circuit are back on the silver screen but this time in a new avatar. Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be seen together in an action-thriller film 'Zila Ghaziabad'. But rather than being the jodi-daars, the two will be seen in a cat and mouse chase in the film.
Arshad Warsi plays the role of a goon Mahender Fauji Bainsla Gujjar and the story revolves around his conflict with Satbir Gujjar played by Vivek Oberoi.
Sanjay Dutt, who was last seen playing a police officer in 2007 film 'Shootout At Lokhandwala' has yet donned a uniform for the film. From the director of 'Delhi Heights' and 'Jugaad', 'Zila Ghaziabad' is a political action thriller and also stars Minissha Lamba, Divya Dutta, Chandrachur Singh and Ravi Kishan in lead roles. Will 'Zila Ghaziabad' be able to stay true to the actual incident of the 90s? Will it be the game changing film for Vivek Oberoi?
