Are You In A Relationship Or Is It Just A Delulu (Delusion)?
Are You In A Relationship Or Is It Just A Delulu (Delusion)?
If you are not in a relationship and often get thoughts about the person you have a crush on whom you know in person, do not be in a delulu where you start to justify your thoughts

It often happens that some people live in a delusion of being in a relationship and get emotionally hurt when they are struck with the reality. Jeevika Sharma, relationship coach shares a few things you need to keep in mind:

  1. Talk to your partner and ask them directly if what you both have is a relationship or not. It could be that they might consider it only a friendship. Know the answer and move ahead accordingly.
  2. If you are just hooking up with someone for a longer duration do not go out with them at all. Keep it to only sex or make out after which you both should return to your respective lives. You should not consider it as a dating phase or a relationship. People mistakenly take it as dating or a relationship and live in this delulu (delusion).
  3. In most cases, a person is over-caring as a friend and the other lives out of love because of their delusion. Whereas in reality the over-caring friend has no romantic emotions and is in love with someone else.
  4. Many men and women have a crush on someone with whom they are in contact and consciously live in the delusion of being in love or being in a relationship with them. All thanks to the Bollywood Romantic Movies.
  5. A situation where the couple who were dating at some point and one of them stops taking or responding is basically the end of a relationship. But, the one who is waiting for the response lives in the delulu of being in a relationship and waits for their partner to come back to them. Here it is advised not to wait for them and move on, they do not care about you at all.
  6. If you are in a delusion of being in a relationship then remember you are not the other person’s priority. They are keeping their options open until they find the one they want to spend their life with. This is the reason they are not committed to you or are not in a relationship with you.
  7. If you are in a relationship then keeping the expectations high from your partner is reasonable. But, it could be that they are not be as serious as you are or may not keep up with the expectations. Eventually, you will get hurt.
  8. If you are not in a relationship and often get thoughts about the person you have a crush on whom you know in person, do not be in a delulu where you start to justify your thoughts about them because they are thinking about you. 99% of the time this is not the case. You should not fool yourself.
