Amar Singh Chamkila: Triptii Dimri Speechless By Diljit Dosanjh's Performance, Says 'We Could Feel...'

Triptii Dimri took to Instagram to share her glowing review of the latest film starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, titled “Amar Singh Chamkila.” In her heartfelt post, she described the movie as one of the best she’s seen in a while.

Praising Dosanjh for bringing Amar Singh’s emotions to life on screen with authenticity, Dimri also had kind words for Parineeti Chopra’s performance as Amarjot, lauding her for a sincere and heartfelt portrayal. She continued, “@diljitdosanjh I have no words to describe how good you were in the film…we could literally feel the joy and the pain of amar Singh through you… @parineetichopra was the perfect Amarjot..so honest and pure. @sylvesterfonseca every frame of yours screamed ‘perfection’.. Kudos to the entire cast and crew for making such a wonderful film❤❤.”

Dimri’s admiration for the film was evident as she attended a special screening in Mumbai alongside industry peers like Kartik Aaryan and Avinash Tiwary. Notably, she will soon share the screen with Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ following her recent role in the film Animal.

Meanwhile, News18 gave the film 3.5/5 stars. Our review of the film read, “Diljit delivers a stupendous act as the protagonist. The character of Amar Singh Chamkila is tailor-made for him and he pours his heart out into it. His hard work is palpable and yet his performance is effortless. Watching him become Chamkila and sing his songs will fill your heart up with unadulterated joy. Even in some heavy-weight scenes, he brings a rare restraint to the fore and renders a whole new layer of poise. It, inarguably, is his career-best performance. And somewhere in the middle, you will see him becoming one with Chamkila and very soon, you won’t be able to separate these forces that forever changed the music industry of Punjab.”

The film Amar Singh Chamkila is directed by Imtiaz Ali and is available to be streamed on Netflix.
