Amitabh Bachchan Recites Prasoon Joshi's Poem to Encourage COVID Warriors

Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday took to social media to encourage Covid warriors at a time when India is fighting the deadly second wave of the virus. In a video he tweeted, Big B recites a Hindi poem penned by poet-lyricist Prasoon Joshi.

The poem encourages a person to never give up during a battle, to fight with all their strength and to never bow down or stop midway. His message comes at a time when the nation is battling the second wave of the pandemic with an increasing number of positive cases each day and several states experiencing lockdown.

नदी बहा पवन चला

विजय तेरी हो जय तेरी

ज्योति सी जला जला

भुजा भुजा फड़क फड़क

रक्त में धड़क धड़क

धनुष उठा प्रहार कर

अग्नि सा धधक धधक

हिरण सा सजग सजग

सिंह सी दहाड़ कर

शंख सी पुकार कर
