Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax has been recovering and receiving treatments even a month after meeting an e-bike crash. A source close to Jolie and Pitt recently revealed Pax’s recent health updates. Pax met with an e-bike accident after it collided with a car in Los Angeles on June 29 and sustained major head injuries as he wasn’t wearing a helmet at that time. He was rushed to the hospital and kept in the ICU ward for a week before being released on August 5.
“It’s been a few weeks since the accident, but he’s still recovering and receiving treatments,” the source revealed to People magazine. However, the person also mentioned to the media outlet that Pax is “doing okay” weeks after the incident happened.
Previously, one incidental observer who assisted at the scene when Pax’s e-bike met with the accident while he was driving through Los Feliz Boulevard at around 5 pm told Entertainment Tonight, “His (Pax’s) mouth was filled with blood. When he was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth.”
At the time of the accident, another source informed People that Pax’s mom was distraught when she learned about her son’s accident. According to that person, the 20-year-old boy suffered “complex trauma”.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt, despite his reportedly tense relationship with Pax, was kept informed regarding his son’s recovery. A source told New York Post, “He wants his son to get to a good place.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got separated in 2016, but the legal fight has been going on for over eight years. In addition to Pax, 20, and Shiloh, 18, the actors are parents to four children, including Maddox, 23, Zahara, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. The Maleficent actress adopted Pax in 2007 when he was three. Later, Brad Pitt legally adopted him in 2008.
