The much-anticipated 11th season of Bigg Boss Kannada had a grand launch on Sunday, September 29. Returning to the screen as the host, Kiccha Sudeep introduced the contestants as they embarked on a 100-day journey filled with drama, challenges and excitement. A total of 17 contestants entered the show. In a dramatic twist for the premiere, the contestants were divided into two distinct groups: the ‘Heaven’ and ‘Hell’ houses. Seven contestants entered the Hell House, while ten contestants marked their entry in the Heaven House. With division in the house, the makers have set the stage for intense competition and intriguing dynamics, as contestants in the Hell house will face numerous challenges and disadvantages compared to their counterparts in the Heaven house. On the first day, the show witnessed a huge war of words among the Hell and Heaven house’s residents. It also affected the nomination process.
On the first day, a huge fight erupted between the residents of hell and heaven houses. Chaithra Kundapura became the centre of attraction after her strategy to divert the household chores worked. Many appreciated her strategy, while others condemned her excessive screaming. In the nomination, when many chose Chaithra Kundapura, actress Bhavya Gowda nominated Mokshitha Pai for her low interaction with housemates. Mokshitha Pai didn’t agree with the reason of Bhavya Gowda for her nomination. Mokshitha Pai said that she is not silent. She talks to everyone. The actress said she cannot do anything if a person doesn’t approach her for interaction. In the end, Mokhsitha Pai said she respects Bhavya Gowda’s opinion.
The nominations also saw another clash between Yamuna Srinidhi and Shishir Shastry with the former saying, “Who are you to question my decision?” The promo shows the disagreement quickly escalating, with Shishir and Yamuna engaging in a fiery war of words. Shishir, visibly upset, challenged Yamuna’s judgement, leading her to snap back. The confrontation turned into a heated verbal spat, marking one of the most intense moments of the season so far.
Yamuna nominated Gouthami Jadav over her closeness with the Hell Dwellers. Shishir came into her support.
