The ongoing month is extra special for RM as he recently celebrated his 30th birthday and marked the halfway point of his military service. Adding on to these, September 17 brought another important moment for the BTS leader as he met the South Korean president. This visit, timed with Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), had President Yoon Suk Yeol inspecting the newly established medical battalion and encouraging soldiers during the holiday. In the photos that are now going viral, RM, who is currently serving in the 15th Division, was prominently featured alongside the President.

Fans quickly took to social media and shared their excitement and reactions about the meeting. “Bro he’s so done LMAOOOOO,” a fan jokingly wrote, while another one said, “NAHHHHHH free him.”

“Right here…is it Joon? He looks sooo done, Me baby,” wrote a user.

On the music scene, RM continues to impress. He recently collaborated with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion on the track Neva Play, which debuted at 36 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the highest debut for an Asian Hip-Hop act in 2024. Additionally, RM appeared on Billboard’s 2024 R&B/Hip-Hop Chart Toppers THE HONOR ROLL List alongside BTS member V.

Beyond his musical career, RM is also reportedly gearing up for a significant moment on the big screen. This October, at the 29th Busan International Film Festival, he will release his documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place. The documentary goes beyond the music, offering viewers a rare behind-the-scenes view of RM’s life before his military enlistment. It shows not only the creative process behind his album but also personal moments and insights into his life during that period. Its premiere at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival is expected to draw attention from both fans and film enthusiasts.

RM enlisted in December 2023 and his military service is expected to end in June 2025.
