Dhadak 2 To Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Triptii Dimri Bags 6 Films After Ranbir Kapoor's Animal; Replaces Kiara, Janhvi

Triptii Dimri has been on a roll after her breakout performance in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. She has not only bagged several roles as the lead but has also replaced big names like Janhvi Kapoor and Kiara Advani in franchise films. While Triptii has been acting in films like Qala and Bulbul, her role in Animal led to a meteoric rise in her popularity. Here’s a look at her upcoming projects:

Bad Newz

Triptii Dimri will soon be seen on our screens in Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. As per reports, the film will also feature a cameo by Ananya Panday. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari and will be released on July 19. The film will shed light on a rare condition in which a female gets pregnant with twins from two different males.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Triptii will be seen in her first film with Kartik Aaryan this Diwali. She will take over the mantle from Kiara Advani. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also feature Vidya Balan in her role from the original film. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee. Reportedly, Madhuri Dixit will also appear in the film in a special appearance.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video

Rajkummar Rao will team up with Triptii Dimri in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The film is slated to release on October 11 this year. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is said to be a comedy-drama.

Dhadak 2

Karan Johar announced today, May 27, that Dhadak 2 will be released in theatres on November 22. While Dhadak originally starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, Dhadak 2 will feature Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Like the original Dhadak, the sequel explores how class and status pose a challenge to love. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures.

Aashiqui 3 

Triptii’s second film with Kartik Aaryan is said to be Aashiqui 3. However, there is much contention about the film’s title. The film will be directed by Anurag Basu. While there is no confirmation on Tritptii’s casting yet, many reports claim that she will be the lead in the film.
