Fardeen Khan Says He Wanted To Be a Part of No Entry 2, Tells Boney Kapoor 'Don't Mess It Up'
No Entry 2 will star Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor. The original film had Fardeen Khan with Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan in lead roles.

Fardeen Khan has opened up about the sequel of his 2005 film No Entry. The original film starred Fardeen with Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor. However, the sequel will have Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead. Anees Bazmee, who directed No Entry, will be returning to helm its sequel too.

In a recent interview, Fardeen Khan shared that the original No Entry movie is close to his heart and therefore, he hopes the upcoming sequel is equally good. Fardeen revealed that he wanted to be a part of No Entry 2 but “it wasn’t meant to be”.

“I’ve heard the script, it is absolutely hilarious. I think everyone tried hard to work out whether it was from Salman Khan or Boney Kapoor or Anees Bazmee… It’s a film that’s close to my heart,” Fardeen told PTI.

“Wish we could have been a part of it but it wasn’t meant to be. So, these things happen. For Anees and Boney, I only have love and my best wishes on the sequel, all I would say is: Don’t mess it up,” the actor continued.

Fardeen Khan further sent wishes to the No Entry 2 team and said he is looking forward to the sequel. “I don’t know whether they’re doing something different with the sequel but I’m pretty sure it will be close to what Anees had already written. I think it will be incredible. I wish them luck, love, I’m dying to see it when it comes out,” he added.

No Entry revolved around two married men – played by Fardeen Khan and Anil Kapoor, who land in trouble because of their womanising friend – essayed by Salman Khan. The film also starred Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitley. Bipasha Basu also made an extended cameo in the film.

On the other hand, in March this year, Boney Kapoor confirmed that No Entry 2 will star Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. He also revealed that they are planning to begin the film’s shoot by the end of this year.

“The film is on cards, and we are set for it. It is a big one and we will probably start rolling by December this year. We have got Varun, Arjun and Diljit. There will be a lot of actresses as well,” he told Indian Express.

However, Boney Kapoor did not reveal much information about the plot but simply added, “Earlier, the concept had spilled over and some films had copied it, or rather ‘adapted’ it. I don’t want to name the film, so it is better not to speak about it. I used to brag about the unusual concept we had but then I found out there was another film that was made with the same concept.”
