Film Nagar Cultural Center Donates Rs 25 Lakhs To Flood Victims In Andhra Pradesh And Telangana
The funds are to help the flood victims, particularly those who were majorly impacted by the overflowing Budameru River in Vijayawada, causing significant damage due to heavy rains.

In the wake of recent terrible floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Film Nagar Cultural Center (FNCC) has stepped up to assist rescue operations. A delegation from FNCC, including President G. Adiseshagiri Rao, Secretary Mohan Mullapudi, and Joint Secretary Peddi Raju, met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and presented a donation of Rs 25 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The funds are intended to help the flood victims, particularly those who were majorly impacted by the overflowing Budameru River in Vijayawada, which caused significant damage due to heavy rains.

Speaking on the occasion, President G. Adiseshagiri Rao highlighted FNCC’s commitment to providing assistance during natural disasters, stating, “FNCC has always been at the forefront of relief efforts whenever calamities strike.”

On the other hand, Secretary Mohan Mullapudi said: “We have extended help in the past for various calamities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This time, we are donating Rs 25 lakhs to the Chief Ministers of both states. The governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been extremely supportive of the Film Nagar Club, and we appreciate the Chief Ministers for their ongoing assistance.”

On this occasion, the CMs of both states congratulated the members of the Film Nagar Cultural Center who came forward to help the flood victims.

Several other celebrities and organizations have also contributed to relief efforts as the region continues to recover from the heavy rains and flooding.

A few days back, Nandamuri Mohana Krishna, the actor, politician, and former chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s heir, along with his daughter Nandamuri Mohan Rupa, presented Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu with a cheque of Rs 25 lakh.

Mahesh Babu of Telugu presented Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy with a cheque for Rs 50 lakh on Monday to aid those affected by the state’s recent floods and severe rains.

According to an official announcement, Mahesh Babu met Revanth Reddy at his home and gave the money to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the past few days have caused significant flooding and disruptions to daily life. Several well-known Telugu film actors have stepped forward to help the victims of this disaster.
